Description:  Stored 1/58 at Conneaut and subsequently shopped there. Stored after shopping and sold to F. Nelson Blount (Monadnock, Steamtown & Northern) on 10/16/62.In May 1958, the NKP thoroughly overhauled 759 in the company's great shop at Conneaut, OH. It was the last steam locomotive to be overhauled by NKP. F. Nelson Blount added 759 to his collection at Steamtown USA in Bellows Falls, VT in October, 1962. The 759 was steamed up on 8/17/68 and made several trial runs. On May 3, 1969, painted black with yellow lettering and white driver tires, 759 led Ross Rowland's "Golden Spike Limited" from Grand Central Station to Promontory, Utah for the "Driving of the Golden Spike Ceremony".

Title:  Green Mountain #89 "switches" a Berk.
Description:  This is a really nice postcard I found. The GMRC engine was built in 1910 by the Canadian Locomotive Company for the Grand Trunk Railway, this engine became Canadian National No. 911, in class E-10-a, in 1923. These locomotives had 21x26-inch cylinders, 63-inch drivers and a boiler pressure of 170 pounds. They exerted 26,000 pounds of tractive effort and weighed 141,800 pounds.
